Summary:
The Training Director develops and oversees comprehensive training programs for the Perkins Loan Servicing Program. This role ensures staff are well-prepared and compliant with FSA and federal regulations, driving efficiency and service quality.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Design training materials tailored to program requirements and FSA guidelines.
Lead onboarding and continuous education initiatives for all staff.
Collaborate with department leaders to address skill gaps and role-specific needs.
Employ modern instructional design methods (e.g., ADDIE) for curriculum development.
Monitor training effectiveness using feedback and performance metrics.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and compliance awareness.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Possess 5-10 years of related experience
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training & Development, or a related field
Substantial experience developing training programs, ideally in financial services or government.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and eLearning platforms.
- Possess the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Possess a Master's degree in Education, Training and Development, or a related field
- Knowledge of FSA requirements, compliance standards, or loan servicing
- Certification in training or instructional design
