Summary:
The Director Compliance and Quality will ensure the Perkins Loan Servicing Program adheres to FSA requirements, federal regulations, and industry standards (FISMA, NIST, TCPA, Section 508, etc.). This leadership role develops robust compliance frameworks and quality assurance programs to maintain operational integrity and seamless borrower experiences.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and implement compliance programs aligned with federal standards and cybersecurity protocols.
- Oversee quality assurance processes to maintain servicing accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify compliance risks and address gaps.
- Collaborate with IT teams to meet FedRAMP, SDLC, and other security requirements.
- Train staff on compliance standards and cultivate a quality-first culture.
- Produce metrics and reports on program compliance and quality performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Posses at least 8 years of related experience with at least 3 years of management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Compliance, Law, Business, or related field
- Possess the ability to pass and maintain favorable eligibility for a Public Trust investigation
- Substantial experience managing compliance programs in a regulated environment
- In-depth knowledge of federal guidelines (FISMA, NIST, TCPA, 508 compliance)
- Experience with quality assurance frameworks and auditing protocols
- Relevant compliance certifications (e.g., CISA, CIPP) are advantageous
- Possess a Master’s degree in Compliance, Law, Business, or related field
