Summary:
Goldschmitt and Associates is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a remote position.
This role drives enterprise architecture standards, system integration strategies, cloud transformation initiatives, and governance frameworks.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define enterprise architecture standards and target-state solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal mandates (e.g., OMB guidance, FISMA, NIST frameworks, Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF))
- Lead architecture review boards (ARBs) and technical design governance processes
- Guide modernization initiatives, including legacy system decomposition and microservices adoption
- Support DevSecOps enablement and CI/CD pipeline architecture
- Possess at least 10 years of experience of enterprise-level architecture experience in large-scale federal IT systems
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Possess a TOGAF Foundation (Level 1) certification
- Possess the ability to pass the Public Trust investigation and maintain eligibility, including US citizenship
- Possess a Master’s degree in a related field
- Possess a TOGAF Practitioner (Level 2) certification
- Possess prior experience supporting the US Department of Education Federal Student Aid (FSA)
